ART ON PAPER tracks some of modern history’s most influential artists using the fine art prints they left behind. The Matthews Gallery’s dynamic collection of historic lithographs, woodblock prints and etchings will take visitors down the alleyways of Paris and on a voyage to French Polynesia. At the opening on Friday, October 25, curator Jordan Eddy will discuss the history of printmaking and gallery owner Lawrence Matthews will tell the stories behind prints by Pablo Picasso, Pierre-Auguste Renoir and Paul Gauguin.
NEW HORIZONS is part of the Matthews Gallery's SALON 669. Click here to learn more about the event series.
