Dan Rizzie was born in 1951, in Poughkeepsie, New York. His father was in the foreign service so he grew up in India, Egypt, Jordan and Jamaica. These travels and cultural experiences can be seen in the multi-layered artwork he creates.
He's a prolific painter, printmaker and collage artist. His work has been widely exhibitied and collected. He currently resides in Sag Harbour, NY
